Dr. Nivedita Kapoor (MBBS, MD, DCH, CCAI-Chennai) is a highly experienced Child Specialist and Allergy Specialist with more than 20 years of clinical experience in providing comprehensive healthcare for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate pediatric care with a strong focus on child growth and development, childhood allergies, vaccination, infant nutrition, newborn health, pediatric endocrinology, and Type 1 diabetes management.
Having previously served as the In-charge of a Government Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Dr. Kapoor brings extensive expertise in managing high-risk newborns, premature babies, neonatal emergencies, infant health, and complex pediatric conditions. Her hospital-based experience enables her to provide specialized care for children from birth through adolescence.
Dr. Kapoor has developed a strong reputation in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood allergies, including food allergy, milk allergy, skin allergy (eczema), allergic rhinitis, recurrent cough, wheezing, asthma, dust allergy, pollen allergy, insect allergy, recurrent hives (urticaria), and allergic skin disorders. She is also an international member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the world’s leading organization of allergists and clinical immunologists dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of allergic and immunological diseases.
Her academic interests extend to pediatric endocrinology and diabetes care. She has been awarded a Fellowship in Diabetes Care by Diabetes India, receiving advanced training in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diabetes and its complications. She has also successfully completed the Certificate Course in Diabetes Management conducted by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), strengthening her expertise in evidence-based diabetes care and patient education.
